Local Operating Engineers Endorse Rep. Jonathan Dever for Re-Election to Ohio House
COLUMBUS—State Representative Jonathan Dever (R-Madeira) has been endorsed for re-election to the Ohio House by the Local 18 chapter of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE).
IUOE members are responsible for a wide variety of infrastructure projects throughout the state of Ohio. Their work includes constructing bridges, buildings, tunnels, and dams, as well as many other facilities. They are active in both private industry and various areas of public employment, such as hospitals, schools and government offices.
Representing Ohio’s operating engineers for more than 70 years, IUOE Local 18 currently works on behalf of 15,000 members.
"Developing and maintaining a robust infrastructure is critical as we continue to rebuild Ohio's economy," said Dever. "I am honored to have the support and confidence of IUOE Local 18 for my re-election bid."
Dever is seeking his second term to the Ohio House. He represents the 28th House District, which includes the northern suburbs of Hamilton County.
