NFIB Ohio Endorses Rep. Jonathan Dever for Re-Election to Ohio House
COLUMBUS—State Representative Jonathan Dever (R-Madeira) has received the endorsement of NFIB/Ohio SAFE Trust PAC, a group that advocates for small and independent businesses, for his re-election to the Ohio House of Representatives.
In its endorsement letter, NFIB stated that it believes Rep. Dever will “continue to be a positive and proactive voice on behalf of small businesses while in the Ohio Legislature.”
"It is humbling to have the support and confidence of NFIB/Ohio,” Dever said. “As a small business owner I understand the challenges of getting off the ground, dealing with burdensome regulations, and making a payroll. Like I have throughout my first term in office, I will continue advocating for policies that encourage job creation and support small business owners.”
Dever is running for his second term in the 28th House District, which includes the northern suburbs of Hamilton County. During his first term in office, Dever supported several pieces of legislation that will help grow Ohio’s economy, including voting to lower fees on entrepreneurs looking to create new businesses. He also sponsored House Bill 387, which made it easier for small business owners to recover losses in small claims court and avoid paying such high court and attorney costs.
NFIB endorses candidates who promote policies that are supportive of small businesses. Founded in 1943, the organization represents 325,000 small and independent business owners nationwide.
