Ohio Chamber of Commerce Endorses Rep. Jonathan Dever
COLUMBUS—State Representative Jonathan Dever (R-Madeira) has been endorsed by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce for his re-election to the Ohio House.
"Ohio has made great strides to ensure our job creators have the needed resources to create good paying jobs in our state,” Dever said. “I am committed to building upon the nearly 30,000 new jobs in Hamilton County over the past 20 months so we can get Ohioans working again. I look forward to working with the Ohio Chamber of Commerce to accomplish these goals."
During his first term in office, he supported several pieces of legislation that will help grow Ohio’s economy, including voting to reduce income tax rates for families and small business owners, as well as to lower fees for entrepreneurs looking to create new businesses. He also sponsored the ABLE Act, legislation that allows Ohioans with disabilities to create tax-advantaged accounts, giving them more independence over their financial security.
Dever is seeking his second term to the Ohio House. He represents the 28th House District, which includes the northern suburbs of Hamilton County.
With more than 8,000 members, the Ohio Chamber of Commerce champions pro-business and free enterprise policies that foster economic growth in the state.
