Ohio Manufacturers’ Association Endorses Rep. Jonathan Dever
COLUMBUS—State Representative Jonathan Dever (R-Madeira) has been endorsed by the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association Political Action Committee for re-election to the Ohio House.
“Our goal is to help elect the most qualified candidates to protect and grow Ohio manufacturing,” said OMA President Eric Burkland. “With today’s endorsement, we’ve taken an important step in accomplishing that goal. Representative Dever supports the issues that are important to Ohio manufacturers and their employees and understands that a strong manufacturing sector leads to a healthier economy, good jobs and improved quality of life for all Ohioans. We are pleased to support him.”
Dever is seeking his second term to the Ohio House. He represents the 28th House District, which includes the northern suburbs of Hamilton County. During his first term in office, he supported several pieces of legislation that will help grow Ohio’s economy, including voting to reduce income tax rates for families and small business owners, as well as to lower fees for entrepreneurs looking to create new businesses.
"During my tenure in the Ohio House I have worked diligently to bring good-paying jobs back to Ohio, including those in manufacturing," said Dever. "I look forward to continuing to collaborate with Ohio's manufacturers and thank the Ohio Manufacturers' Association for its support of my re-election campaign."
Candidate endorsements are made by the OMA-PAC board of directors based on a variety of factors including public records and OMA member support in the district.
