CINCINNATI—Jonathan Dever, the Republican candidate for the Ohio House in the 28th District, is happy to announce that he has been endorsed by U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-Cincinnati).
“Jonathan Dever will fight for the people of Cincinnati in the Ohio House of Representatives, and I look forward to working with him to promote jobs and opportunity for southwest Ohio,” Senator Portman said.
“It is truly an honor for me to receive the endorsement from Senator Rob Portman,” Dever said. “A lifelong Cincinnatian and a person with strong moral and intellectual standing, Senator Portman has been someone I have admired and respected for a long time. I appreciate his endorsement and I look forward to working with him as, together, we try and strengthen Hamilton County and the state of Ohio.”
Jonathan Dever is seeking his first term to the Ohio House in the 28th District, which includes Blue Ash, Deer Park, Evendale, Forest Park, Glendale, Greenhills, Madeira, Montgomery, Reading, Sharonville, Springdale, part of Springfield Township, and Sycamore Township.
He operates a small law practice and technology firm and understands the importance of balancing a budget and meeting a payroll. He and his wife, Martha, are raising their two boys and dog, Pete, on the same street Jonathan’s father grew up on in Madeira.
